Look at these darling pictures Sherree Hood (Mia's daughter) took of Jackson! He is getting sooo big. I bet he weighs 19 lbs. He's dragging himself across the floor and I have yet to baby proof the house. Yeah mom!!

The Last Super

Jackson appears to be over this 24 bug considering that we have had no fever since yesterday afternoon. He ran a 102.1 thursday night, vomited and couldn't sleep. This is the third illness my poor baby has had in 3 months. We have no idea where he is getting this stuff from since he does not attend day care. Daddy seems to be a likely culprit, being that he is always sick with something. Steven and I need a date night badly, and we were so excited to go and get some awesome dinner tonight! Much to my dismay, the weather guy says that we will be entertained by the grace of tornadoes, hurricanes, monsoons, or whatever instead. It looks like we will be facing another wakeful night since this baby of mine surely can't sleep through a torrential thunder and lightening show. We are pleased when he sleeps through the sound of the ice maker, and I don't think we have managed to desensitize him to anything more imposing. Needless to say, we haven't had a decent dinner in several nights, and I don't see one on the horizon any time soon. We had better get to Fresh Market as soon as it opens (and he finishes his nap) to try and beat the milk and bread crowd. The weather is supposed to crank up as early as noon, and there's nothing to eat in this house--not even snack food. Catherine gave me a cookbook of "one step meals", a resource I'll be consulting real soon. If this storm nocks the power out, we may be having a dinner of champions. Maybe some crackers and cheese and apple slices. Yum Yum!
